- Description
- The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis hardware equipment for a ruggedized magneto optical drive for NSWCDD?s Optical Recorder Peripheral (ORP) unit from Mountain Optech, Inc.; 4775 Walnut Street, Suite A; Boulder, Colorado 80301. Mountain Optech is the only vendor with a product which meets the Navy requirements. The NAICS Code is 334112 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract for delivery by 3 September 2002. FOB destination shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used. The request for Quotation (RFP) Number is N00178-02-Q-1011. Interested parties other than Mountain Optech, Inc. must be able to demonstrate their capability to perform this effort in writing by 14 June 2002. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capabilities with their fax quote at (540) 653-7088, wh ich shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5100. This procurement is DO priority rated. Written offers shall be submitted to: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS11C/Building 183/Room 102, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 by 14 June 2002, 2:00 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time). Anticipated award by 24 June 2002.
