- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0208 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, Acqiris, USA, 234 Cromwell Hill Road, Monroe, NY in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii). The Government does not possess complete specification/drawings to allow for adequate competition. Acqiris, USA is the original equipment manufacturer and is in possession of all required specifications. This equipment must integrate with the existing system in terms of form, fit, and function and compatibility. This solicita tion document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2002-07 and DCN 20020426. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334515 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 -. 2 each, Digitizer , PN: DC270, Description: Compact PCI 6U 4 Channel, 250 MHz 1GS/S, 128 KPTS Memory; CLIN 0002 ? 2 each, Memory, Acquisition; PN DC270-M2M, Description: 2 MPTS per channel acquisition memory; CLIN 0003 ? 2 each, Interface Kit, fiber optic PN: IC210, Description: MXI-3 by NI, 30 M cable incl 6U to 3U adapter and gasketed front panel; CLIN 0004 ? 2 each, Connector, Asbus PN: XB103, Description: Double termination, CLIN 0005 ? 2 each, CompactPCI PN: CC105, Description: 6U Compactpci crate 5 slot. CLIN 0006 ? 2 each, Kit, Rack Mount, P N: XC105 for Crate CC105, CLIN 0007 ? 6 each, Panel, 6U blank PN: XC200 for improved airflow and EMI shielding for Digitizer crate. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination to Crane, IN 47522 within 3 weeks after award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC CRANE. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirements of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. . The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government?s Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
