- Contact: Mr. Brian Moellers, telephone 812-854-1812, e-mail moellers_brian@crane.navy.mil Description: The Navy intends to negotiate a fixed-price job order on a sole-source basis to acquire a quantity of 15 each C-12435 radio set controls to fulfill urgent Fleet and sparing requirements in support of the AN/ARC-187 communications set on the P-3 and derivative aircraft. The intended sole-source is Raytheon Company, 1010 Production Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808. This procurement will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is the proprietary information of Raytheon and the duplicative cost to the Government to utilize another source to satisfy the Government?s requirement. The Navy expects to issue the job order under the above numbered bas ic ordering agreement with Raytheon Company, Fort Wayne. Delivery is required to begin within 270 days from the effective date of award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
