Description

NA The specifications and Drawings for Invitation No. DACW64-02-B-0004, Houston Ship Channel, Restoration of Goat Island, and Erosion Protection for San Jacinto State Park for which the issued date was postponed is hereby, change to read as follows: Plans and specifications will be issued on 1 July 2002, Bid opening is scheduled for 15 August 2002, at 2:00 p.m. local time in conference room 185, Galveston, Texas. All questions in regards to this procurement must be received by the the Contracting Officer No Later Than 8 July 2002. All questions shall be faxed to (409) 766-3165, Attention Curtis Cole Jr. Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 24 July 2002 10:00 am local time in conference room 185, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, Jadwin Building, 2000 Fort Point Road, Galveston, Texas. The following is added to the Subcontracting Goals: 3% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The plans and specifications have been placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge on the issue date. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or Internet. However, th e Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors ma y view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: Http://ww.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Bidders shall register themselves on the Internet to receive a copy of this soli citation (CD-ROM). NO EXPRESS MAIL PROCECDURES WILL BE UTILIZED ON INITIAL MAILING OF THE CD.
