Description
NA The US Army Soldier Biological Chemical Command is issuing a solicitation on a full and open competitive basis for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract to provide program and integration support services for its missions in research, de velopment, and acquisition, which includes developing, acquiring, and sustaining soldier support, and nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) defense technology, systems, and services. The government is considering making a single award, with a three-year period of performance. The maximum quantity is anticipated to be $10,000,000. Potential sources shall have knowledge of the above missions in addition to possessing skills in the following areas: studies and analyses; long range planning; preparing prog ram and management documents; supporting program management; coordinating and presenting briefings; conducting seminars; public outreach; developing databases, software an d related automated information systems support; and coordination among DoD organiza tions. Performance of the contract will require a security clearance of up to and including SECRET. The provisions of FAR 9.5 Organizational and Consultant Conflicts of Interest will apply to certain requirements/individual task orders under this contract. Prospective offerors will be requested to submit an Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) avoidance plan with their proposal, which sets forth how the offeror intends to identify, avoid, or mitigate actual or potential conflicts. Estimated release d ate for RFP DAAD13-02-R-0027 is on or about 28 June 2002 with responses due within 30 days after release. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available.
