- Description
- Contractor to provide all necessary labor and materials required to repair patient aids such as wheelchairs, scooters, stairway lifts and wheel-evators of VA beneficiaries within VISN V (VAMC's Washington, DC, Martinsburg, WV and VA Maryland Healthcare System, MD & Baltimore Rehabilitation & Extended Care Center, MD) in accordance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation for the period August 1, 2002 through July 31, 2003 with the option to extend for two one-year option periods subject to the availability of funds. Responsible sources may submit an offer in accordance with the solicitation which may be obtained electronically at the URL address http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. The issue date is approximately 06/15/02 and bid opening is approximately 07/16/02. No telephone requests will be accepted. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business (See Note 1) and providers place of business should be located within VISN V (MD, VA, WV, PA, DC). NAICS code is 811211. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13.5 test program and the simplified acquisition procedures apply. The procurement will be conducted according to a combination of Parts 12 and 13 and 15.
