- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, Florida, intends to issue solicitation RFQ30211-0040-2 for the requirements of: Underwear, boxer, 100% cotton or 50/50 blend, white, first quality only, sizes large - 4x large; T-Shirts, 50/50 cotton/polyester blend, crew neck, white, first quality only, sizes large - 8X large; Underwear briefs, jockey style with elastic waist (flat seam), fly opening, 100 % cotton or 50/50 blend, white, first quality only, sizes large - 3X large; t- shirt, 50/50 cotton polyester blend, crew neck, color - heather gray, first quality only, sizes large - 8X large; Socks, tube, men's 19" tub sock with welt top, men's sizes 10-15, 86% cotton, 15% stretch polyester, white, first quality only; Laundry bags, mesh, draw string closure, color - white only, 24" x 36" with ID tag or flag, first quality. This solicitation is restricted to 100% small business, FOB Destination, delivery date of NLT August 28, 2002, required to the Federal Correctional Complex, 846 NE 54th Terrace, Coleman, Florida, 33521. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 5, 2002, and will be posted to the Gederal Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 21, 2002. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer must include a completed copy of the FAR Provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (April 2002) with its offer to be considered responsible.
