- Description
- New Restroom Facility construction on the Applegate Ranger District of the Rogue River National Forest; Work includes removal and disposal of an existing restroom structure, well development and water line distribution, septic system connections, site layout and site preparation, excavation, backfill, grading, construction of a new restroom building, access-parking-walkway development, asphalt paving, miscellaneous traffic control devices, and various restroom and campground-related appurtenances; The building includes a women?s unit and a men?s unit, a service area and a covered entry, a concrete slab, wood frame construction and some elements of post and beam construction, and all necessary electrical, plumbing and other mechanical systems, utility service and related finish work; The project must be completed for use by May 1, 2003; This is a Request For Proposals; In addition to price proposals Offerors are required to complete a Questionnaire; Technical response elements include general technical capability, key project management personnel qualifications, key subcontracting, project management and work scheduling, public safety and security, and past performance history; Award evaluation criteria include technical capability, management and scheduling approach, and past performance history in addition to price; Award may be made without discussions; This project includes several option items for additional related work; The project magnitude is in the range between $100,000 and $250,000; NAICS 233320; This solicitation is being issued by the Umpqua National Forest for a project on the Rogue River National Forest; Hard copies of the solicitation package including drawings are not available; Plans were originally drawn as 24 x 36 drawings and electronic downloading and printing may require enlargement.
