- Description
- Sverdrup Technology, Inc. (Sverdrup) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for engineering support in accordance with the following requirements: BS Degree (MS or PhD desired) in Mechnical, Aerospace or Industrial and Systems Engineering from an ABET accredited institution with 10+ years engineering experience in reliability and maintainability analysis is required. Experience with generation of qualitative and quantitative as well as reliability and maintainability models is required. Experience with aerospace propulsion systems would be beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the customer are required. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than June 30, 2002. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by Sverdrup not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, or not to proceed with any award, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Sverdrup. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by Sverdrup. SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone SB, VOSB, AND SD-VOSBs are encouraged to submit responses.
