- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center intends on procuring the following services: continuous on-site maintenance and repair of 694 each washers and dryers for Commander Naval Region, Naval Station Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Models/Types/Model Numbers as follows: Washers; Whirlpool Electric Single Model No. GCA2701XSW2,Whirlpool Washer/Dryer Stackable Model No. LTE5243DQ0, GE Washer/Dryer Stackable Model No. WSM2700WA, Maytag Single Electric Washer Model No. MAH20PNAWW, Dryers: Maytag Stackable Electric Dryers Model No. MILE15MNAYW, Speedqueen Single Dryer Model No. LES19AW, Speedqueen Gas Stackable Model No. SSG009WA, Maytag Single Dryer Model No. MTA16MNAYW, Speedqueen Stack Dryer Model No. SSE007WA. Complete breakdown of quantities, locations and serial numbers will be given in the solicitation document. Maintenance shall include repair and replacement of parts as required for equipment to function properly. Excluded are repair parts as a result of abuse, vandalism, plumbing and electrical. Operating hours for services is 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Response time: within 24 hours after notification is given. Period of performance 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2003. The government intends on including 4 option periods utilizing FAR Clause 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract: Option period #1 01 October 2003 - 30 September 2004, Option period #2 01 October 2004 - 30 September 2005, Option period #3 01 October 2005 - 30 September 2006, Option period #4 01 October 2006 - 30 September 2007. Procurement will be done utilizing FAR Part 12, commercial items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation will be posted on/about 20 June 2002 on the NECO website, www.neco.navy.mil.
