- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-00-G-0288 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for the development of a VH-3D Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM). This will include an upgrade to the schematics, development of expert system models for propulsion, and APU systems, and development of multimedia for principles of operation for Hydraulics and Flight Controls systems. In addition, the order will include an option to upgrade the VH-3D and VH-60 IETMS to web-based technology. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the sole manufacturer and supplier of the VH-3D and VH-60N aircraft and is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to perform this effort in a timely and cost effective manner. White House security requirements dictate that Sikorsky is the only available source. See Note 22.
