- NA The West Virginia Army National Guard is proposing to award a Firm, Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract for nonpersonal services to provide full-food service operation of one dining facility and one snack bar facility at the C amp Dawson Army Training Site located in Kingwood, West Virginia. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with the procedures identified in FAR Parts 12, 13.5 and 15. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, uniforms, administra tion support, supervision, subsistence, and all other non-Government furnished items necessary for operating the facilities. Base period will be 12 months with two option periods of 12 months. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. This acquisition is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside to contractors qualified to perform under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 722212 (corresponding Standard Industrial Classification System Code is 5812) with th e size standard $5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by this Agency. Solicitation will be issued on or about 24 June 2002, with proposals due on or about 24 July 2002. The solicitation will contain the details of the requirement, the instructions for submitting a proposal and how the proposals will be evaluated. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be conducted. The date, time and location will be announced in the solicitation. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notices, and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Army Single Face to Industry site at https//https5.redstone.army.mil/brs/asfi/. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the i nterested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates and/or amendments to any and all documents. Interested offerors can request a copy of the solicitation in writing on company letterhead, with point of contact and telephone numbe r included from USPFO for West Virginia, ATTN: Purchasing and Contracting, 50 Armory Road, Buckhannon, WV 26201. Telephone requests will not be accepted. A copy of the solicitation can also be obtained by sending e-mail to jackie.gibson@wv.ngb.army.mil. The solicitation will also be posted to www.wv.ngb.army.mil/contracting. Government web sites are occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance activities. The Government is not responsible for any lost of Internet connectivity or for an offerors inabili ty to access the documents posted on the referenced web pages. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government?s ultimate ap proach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
