- THIS SOLICITATION IS HEREBY ISSUED AS A 100% SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZONE CONTRACTORS. Provide materials and services necessary to Replace Station Brunswick, GA. The scope of work is to construct a 10,600 gross square foot multi-station and associated waterfront facility at U. S. Coast Guard Station, Brunswick, Georgia. The estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 07-X0596 and Drawing No. 07-X0596 (Sheets 1 ? 154). All work shall be completed within 540 calendar days after Award. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE BY CD ONLY. TO REQUEST A CD: Prospective bidders interested in bidding on this solicitation must REGISTER at this web site: http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdcclant/contracts.html and request a copy of the CD in order to be placed on the plan holder list. If not registered, the United States Government is not responsible for providing you with notifications of any changes to this solicitation. The solicitation will be available approximately June 20, 2002. The date for receipt of proposals is approximately July 22, 2002 at 2:00 PM in Norfolk, VA. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 233320 and the small business size standard is $27.5 Million. The Department of Transportation (DOT) offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
