- Computer Sciences Corporation CSC intends to issue via competition a solicitation for a custom, outsourcing of printing and processing of high speed film developing service for NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) for one (1) base period of 6 months on the first period of performance (POP) from 7/01/02 through 12/31/02 and two (2) one year option periods. Period of Performance (POP) for the option years shall be 01/01/03 - 12/31/04 and 01/01/04 ? 12/31/05, if exercised. The service to be provided will include accepting film exposed by photographers at MSFC, and chemically processing that film with delivery back to MSFC. The film will either be shot in 16mm format or 70mm format. The 16mm film is most often transferred to videotape after processing. The 70mm film is needed when there are individual prints or still pictures selected for printing. Processing, involving the use of chemicals, will take place at the supplier?s site. State which film type, either 16mm or 70mm, or both types that your firm has the capability to process. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested per the attached RFQ and are located in the attached Word 2000 files. The RFQ will include complete technical documentation (SOW), complete service implementation information with estimated quantities for the periods specified together with Representations and Certifications and CSC Terms and Conditions. Interested and responsible parties shall submit their completed quotes not later than fifteen (15) days from this publication date. Quotes may be submitted via e-mail to nancy.lockridge@msfc.nasa.gov or to Fax 256-544-5828. Responses received after the fifteen (15) days will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. The solicitation number must be noted on the request for the RFQ. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS ARE "NOT" ACCEPTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of any amendments, and clarifying questions and answers at http://procurement.nasa.gov/ . This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
