- Description
- The US Customs Service intends to award a sole-source contract for corrective and scheduled maintenance services to sustain a fleet of mobile truck X-ray (MTXR) non-intrusive inspection systems that process vehicles and cargo at air, land, and sea Ports of Entry to the original equipment manufacturer, American Science and Engineering (AS&E). All services, parts, supplies, packaging, transport, and shipment of items required to diagnose, check the overall functional operation of the system to accomplish scheduled maintenance, and correct malfunctions or failures of systems is required. A 24-hour, 7 days a week toll-free phoneline, monthly reports and work completed forms are also required. Period of performance July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003 and up to 4 one-year options.
