Description
Item 0001: NSN 5930-01-146-3651. Switch, Thermostatic. Quantity: 7 Each. End item application is AN/TPS-59 Radar Set. Del to NEBO WAREHOUSE 7 DEFENSE DIST. DEPOT MCLB, BARSTOW, CA, 92311-5087. The Government has an adequate data package for this acquisition. There is no First Article requirement. The acquisition is not set aside for small business. The Request For Quote (RFQ) will be posted to the NECO web site http://www.neco.navy.mil. Drawings for the RFQ will be posted to web site http://www.ala.usmc.mil/contracts/solicit/. Contractors are responsible for downloading the RFQ, the drawings, and monitoring the NECO web site for amendments. The approximate issue date will be 13 June 2002 with the approximate response date of 15 July 2002. The RFQ will specifiy the required response date. Offers must be submitted: (1) in the form of the completed RFQ, (2) by the response date in the RFQ, (3) to the point of contact in the RFQ, (4) by the methods authorized in the RFQ, and (5) contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) phone (800) 227-2423. To be acceptable and eligible for evaluation and consideration for award, proposals must be prepared in accordance with the provisions, instructions and requirements specified in this solicitation document. Proposals complying with the solicitation provisions, instructions and requirements will be evaluated. The Government may (1) reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest, (2) accept other than the lowest offer, (3) waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received, or award to the responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to be the lowest cost technically acceptable offer. The award determination may be made without discussions; ther efore, offerors should submit their proposals, with this knowledge. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.See Numbered Note(s) 13, 26.
