- Description
- This requirement is in support of the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The work includes repairing bridges located over a waterway. The bridge shall have grout curtains installed at the end bents and deteriorated timber cross brace and connecting hardware replaced as indicated and it shall have a new overlay of the deck. In addition to the repairs to the bridge, new concrete bridge rails will be installed, new pedestrian walkways will be placed on both sides of the bridge, lighting will be placed on the structures, new timber wingwalls will be installed, new concrete paths will be constructed to tie the existing paths to the new pedestrian walkways (including earthwork), and incidental related work. The proposed contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 23412 (SIC 1622), and the Size Standard is $28.5 M. The estimated cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Plans and specs will be available on or 25 June 2002. Bid opening date will be on or about 25 July 2002.
