- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for an additional 61,000 manhours of performance for maintenance and repairs required on EA-6B Aircraft under Contract N00019-00-C-0413 withNorthrop Grumman Corporation, St. Augustine, FL. The repairs and maintenance are incidental to Standard Depot Level Maintenance (SDLM) and repairs incidental to modifications (RIM) being performed by Northrop Grumman Corporation under Contract N00019-01-C-0020 at St. Augustine and must be performed concurrently with the modification and SDLM effort. This requirement will be procured on a sole source basis by modification of Contract N00019-00-C-0413. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the EA-6B aircrft and as such, is the only known source with the enginering expertise, source data, facilities and knowledge to provide the SDLM and modification efforts.
