Description

NA This synopsis modifies the synopsis previously posted on 24 May 02 to correct the URL address. The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is in the process of relocating existing internal laboratory facilities (equipment and furnishings). This effort requires di sconnecting, rigging, packing or crating, transporting, fitting up (for electrical, mechanical and other equipment), reinstalling, hooking up, calibrating, disposing, cleaning up and restoring spaces from which the equipment/furnishings were disconnected. A favorable National Agency Check (NAC) shall be required for contractor personnel working on the resultant contract prior to award of the contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 235950 - $12,000,000.00. The proposed contr act will be awarded after an 8(a) only competition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by this agency. The solicitation exists in electronic format only and is available on w3.arl.army.mil/contracts/kosol.htm. This solicitation will close on 26 Jul 02 at 1400. In order to maintain a list of subcontractor possibilities we ask that interested parties submit email notification of their interest to cwinkler@arl.army.mil or by original letter to the address above if emai l is not available. No telephonic or facsimile submissions will be honored.
