Description
The 56th Contracting Squadron is interested in purchasing 4 ea. Dock Boxes in accordance with the following statement of work. Parties interested in a copy of the formal solicitation can contact SSgt Carl Henderson at (623) 856-7179 x233. STATEMENT OF WORK: Contractor shall: 1. Be responsible for removal and disposition of old box, installation of new box and trash removal. 2. Shall ensure removal and disposal of old boxes are performed in compliance with any federal regulations governing such removal. Contractor shall provide the Air Force with documentation relieving the Air Force from any liability due to disposal. 3. Give the government at least five working days to schedule work. 4. Have all required permits. 5. Be aware of threatcon conditions and time delays. 6. Ensure the four new Dock Boxes will meet NFPA 70, 2002 and AFCESA ETL 98-8 standards. 7. Seal bottom of boxes with silicone sealer to keep JP-8 fumes from entering the building from underneath. Doors in new boxes are to be self-closing with a gasket completely sealing doors when closed. This includes the bottoms of the doors. Gasket is to be rated to withstand JP-8 fuel. 8. Dock Boxes will have at least six 48? x 40? windows. Windows in the building must be at least 18? above the hanger floor. No other openings should be included in order to stay within the Class I rating of the hanger. 9. Ensure building is UL listed. Contractor will UL mark building per UL instructions. 10. Ensure light fixtures are Luminaries to be F32T8 with electronic ballasts with no more than 10%THD. No T-12 lamped luminaries allowed. 11. Place a placard with the roof load bearing rating at the entrance to the roof of each building that has an accessible roof. 12. Install a railing around all accessible roofs. 13. Ensure there is no romex wiring. 14. Sign an Electrical Inspection Compliance Form for each building installed. 15. Not place receptacles on the outside of boxes. 16. Adhere to the following voltage and current limitations for each box. 310th ? one 30-amp 120-volt feed; 61st ? a two pole 208/120-volt 20-amp circuit; 62nd & 63rd ? a two pole 208/120-volt 40-amp circuit. 17. Provide Dock Boxes that will be at least 12 foot wide x 28 foot long with 4? thick walls. Boxes will include data and phone jacks, air conditioning, fire suppression system (H2O sprinklers), floor tile, and load bearing roof.
