Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-01-T-0068 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-06. This procurement is set aside for 100% small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326192. The business size standard is 750 employees. Offutt AFB intends to issue a purchase order for the following Scope: The work covered by this statement of work includes the furnishing of labor an equipment in performing all operations in connection with the manufacturing and installation of the foam padding around the hanger doors in facility 565. General: The work under this contract will be performed on Offutt AFB Nebraska and can proceed when foam padding is fabricated and be completed no later than 1 July 2002. Contractor will comply with the following provisions and is subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Foam padding installation and and operations to be warranted for 2 years. 1. Foam padding and vinyl material will be supplied by Civil Engineering. 2. Existing airlines will be removed by Civil Engineering 3. The contractor will remove existing foam padding, then construct and install new foam padding around the center portion of the hanger doors on the north and south side of the hanger. 4. The contactor will construct new foam padding on the vertical upper and lower sections of the doors 5. Contractors will be responsible for the set up and maintain a perimeter at the required distance to protect building patrons from the construction debris. 6. Contractor will be required to make a site visit to confirm and measurements that are required to construct and install foam padding. Disposal of Materials: All debris and other material resulting from work accomplished under this statement of work will be disposed of by the contractor outside the confines of Offutt AFB NE. Drawings will be provided to all interested contractors. THE CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) PRIOR TO AWARD. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERED IN CCR, GO TO WWW.CCR2000.COM TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUOTE. THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ISSUE AN AWARD FOR LINE ITEM 1. LINE ITEM 2 SHALL REMAIN AN OPTION UNLESS THE GOVERNMENT DECIDES TO EXERCISE THE OPTION BY MODIFICATION. QUOTES SHALL BE EVALUATED ON THE TOTAL PRICE OF LINE ITEM 1 AND 2. QUOTES SHALL PROVIDE A SINGLE PRICE FOR EACH LINE ITEM, AND A TOTAL LUMP SUM. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE ALLOWED.
