- Description
- Provide all labor, equipment, material, tools, and qualified supervision to Replace Fire Alarm System, Project 585-01-105, at VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, Michigan. Work includes replacement of existing Simplex Fire Alarm System with a fully addressable system with fire alarm manual pull stations, horn, speakers/strobes, smoke detection control, and monitoring of elevators and smoke control pre-action panels. Provide a fully automatic fire evacuation system and paging with computer system and door security system tied into the fire alarm system. Project Engineer is Martha Ceterski at (906) 774-3300, extension 32201. NAICS code is 235990. Estimated issue date is June 17, 2002. Estimated dollar range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Award is subject to the availability of funds. This solicitation will be issued, and made available free of charge at the Department of Veterans Affairs Business Opportunities System (BOS) website at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov. Interested parties may also access the solicitation on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. There is a non-refundable charge of $25.00 for the solicitation package, if a paper copy is requested. Checks should be made payable to: DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS.
