- Description
- Potential Sources Sought. This sources sought synopsis describes several components that are used in the rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) davit system on board U. S. Coast Guard 225 WLB buoy tenders. These components are being purchased as system stock in support of the installed equipment. The items listed are as follows:?1 winch drum, power operated, 38? high X 75? length X 60? width, 10,400 line pull rating at 60 FPM, 62,000 drum pawl static strength, 125 feet drum capacity of 7/8? wire rope, with hydraulic motor; 1 each winch drum, power operated, left hand; 2 ea brake and clutch assy., winch power operated; 1 ea winch, drum, power operated, 2500 psi operating pressure, self ventilated cooling, hydraulic motor, right hand; 2 ea winch, drum, power operated, 2500 psi operating pressure, return 250 psi flow 15 gpm, motor drain 50 psi at 2 gpm, hydraulic motor driven; 2 ea holding fixture, slider shoe, clutch, 1 ?? length X 1 3/8? height X ?? diameter X ?? width, copper alloy Only Appleton Marine parts are acceptable due to compatibility. Delivery to be negotiated--FOB Destination to the U. S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD. It is the government's belief that only Appleton Marine, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) can provide the said components. However, all qualified, responsible potential sources may submit an offer which will be considered. No specifications or drawings are available. Concerns that submit a proposal on this solicitation must fully demonstrate their capabilities to meet the requirements. Detailed data by which to evaluate the potential offeror's capabilities shall be submitted in duplicate with the offer. No cost or pricing data is required. The government does not intend to pay for the information submitted. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered components: y manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer.
