- Description
- The primary objective of this procurement is to gather information for the public, which will include the federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on theft and recoveries of motor vehicles, insurance data information and the impact of motor vehicle theft on insurance premiums. This procurement is necessary for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) requirements of section 331 of 49 U.S.C. It is contemplated that an Indefinite Quantity (Time and Material) Contract will be awarded. The proposed contract will be for a base year period of twelve (12) months with four one-year option periods. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The internet site, or URL, for the FedBizOpps page is www.fedbizoOpps.gov or www.epsw.gov. The anticipated issuance date is June 14, 2002. However, it is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will also be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
