- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Services for five offenders confined in community-based programs at the Allen County Jail Work Release Center (W/R), Ft. Wayne, Allen County, IN and surrounding areas. Contractor must be able to provide T-DAT services at the W/R or provide transportation services for T-DAT clients to their treatment location. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Transitional Drug Abuse Teratment (TDAT) dated November 1999. A requirements type contract is anticipated. Estimated requirements for the two-year base period (August 1,2002 through July 31, 21004) are two assessments (one assessment/year/offender); estimated individual sessions are based on 4 units per month (2 hours per month) for six months, for a total of 48 individual units for a total of 240 individual session units; estimated group sessions are based on 12 units per month (1 1/2 hours per week) for 6 months, for a total of 144 group units for a total of 720 group sessions; estimated requirements for Option Period One (August 1, 2004 through July 31, 2005) are one assessment/year/offender; estimated individual sessions are based on 4 units per month (2 hours per month) for 6 months, the total is 24 individual units; estimated group sessions are based on 12 units per month ( 1 1/2 hours per week) for 6 months, for a total of 72 group units for a total of 360 group sessions; estimated requirements for Option Period Two (August 1, 2005 through July 31,2006) are one assessment/year/offender; estimated individual sessions are based on 4 units per month (2 hrs. per month) for 6 months, the total is 24 individual units; estimated group sessions are based on 12 units per month (1 1/2 hours per week) for 6 months, for a total of 72 group units for a total of 360 group sessions. Estimated requirements for Option Period Three (August 1, 2006 through July 31, 2007) are one assessment/year/offender; estimated individual sessions are based on 4 units per month (2 hours per month) for 6 months, the total is 24 individual units; estimated group sessions are based on 12 units per month (1 1/2 hours per week) for 6 months, for a total of 72 group units for a total of 360 group sessions. The solicitaiton will be available on or about June 18, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site = http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
