- CORRECTED SOLICITATION NUMBER: RFQ-R6-21-02-4 NOT CORRECT NUMBER (SHOULD BE RFQ-21-02-40) The Colville National Forest requires Tree Thinning services on approximately 312 acres and slashing services on approximately 128 acres on the Three Rivers Ranger District. Location of the work is in Ferry and Stevens Counties, Washington, located in the NE portion of Washington State. This project requires the furnishing of all tools, equipment, materials, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), labor, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance, transportation, and incidentals to perform all work necessary to accomplish the tree thinning and slashing. The slashing units will be optional items. Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act registration and a Washington State Farm/Forest Labor License are required. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about June 21, 2002. Estimated start work date is on or about July 23, 2002, with work being completed within 43 days from the notice to proceed. Quotes are estimated to be due July 12, 2002. The proposed project listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside. NAICS code is 115310, size standard $6.0 million.
