Description: Purchase and installation of New Wipaire Model 6100 Amphibious Float and 5370 lb. gross weight increase kit. All unpainted parts and surfaces on floats (such as landing gear) are to be painted for salt-water corrosion control. Aircraft is to be stripped where paint is removed, acid etched, and repainted in US Forest Service colors and scheme with epoxy primer and polyurethane paint. Surface damage and corrosion is to be repaired as needed. Alodine Conversion coat surface to be painted. All access cover plates attaching hardware are to be replaced with new. Flight control surfaces to be checked and rebalanced after painting and before reinstalling.
