Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Comprehensive Sanctions Center(CSC) services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Fresno, California area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC), Amended November 2001" and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT), dated November 1999." This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement-type contract. The services are estimated to be 86% male and 14% female. The estimated number of inmate days for Community Corrections Center services (Line Item One) is 21,930 (males) and 3,655 (females) for the base period and 12,775 (males) and 1,825 (females) for option years one and two, and 12,810 (males) and 1,830 (females) for option year three, respectively. Estimates for TDAT services (Line Item Two) are 70 intake assessment, 24-30 minute sessions per inmate for Individual Counseling and 48-30 minute sessions per inmate for Group Counseling for the base period and 40 intake assessments, 24-30 minute sessions per inmate for Individual Counseling and 48-30 minute sessions per inmate for Group Counseling for option years one, two and three, respectively. The requirements for Line Items One and Two are anticipated to result in the award of one contract. The solicitation will be available on or about June 4, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is August 2, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
