- THIS MODIFICATION TO THE SYNOPSIS CHANGES THE RANGE TO $500,000 TO 1,000,000. This project is for approximately 2.41 miles of forest road reconstruction. An option item is for approximately .80 miles of forest road reconstruction. Major items of work include clearing and grubbing, excavation, reconditioning of roadbed, removal of trees, installing drainage ditches, graded dips, downdrains. Load off ditches, inlet basins, and corrugated metal pipes. Placement of aggregate base, SC-800 prime coat, LMCRS-2H Emulsion, 3/8" chips, and class III riprap. There will be a non-mandatory meeting at the project site at 10 am on May 30, 2002. To reach the project site, from Placerville, travel North on State Route 193 approximately 21 miles to Georgetown. Then travel approximately 9 miles East on the Wentworth Springs Road (12N29) past Camp Virner to the Rock Creek Road (12N70) Turnoff. Then travel south on Rock Creek Road (12N70) approximately 7 miles to the end of the existing chipseal. The 2.41 miles start here at Sta. 7+50 to Sta 135+00.
