- Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, intends to solicit for Service Steam Materials in various sizes, such as: Tubing per MIL-T-16420; piping, monel per MIL-T-1368; Tees per MSS-SP-119; Bosses per MIL-STD-22D; Outlets per MIL-STD-22D; Reducers per MSS-SP-119; Elbows per MSS-SP-119; Couplings per STD DWG 810-1385880; Caps per MSS-SP-119; Flanges per STD DWG 810-471-5319; Union Assemblies per STD DWG 803-6397430; Union Tail Pieces per STD DWG 803-7063850; Union Thread Pieces per STD DWG 803-6397430; Union Nuts for Class 400 tail pieces, bronze; O-rings, ethylene propylene, 80 durometer; retainer rings per MIL-F-1183/10 Figure F, bronze, ASTM B61; Bolts per MIL-S-1222 type 1 grade 400; Valves per STD DWG 803-4384536; Strainers per STD DWG 803-841499; Insulation per MIL-I-22344; Insulation per MIL-I-2781; deck sleeves per DWG 845-4365256 sheet 7, ASTM A-53 type E or S, grade B; leak test compound per MIL-PRF-25567 type 1; rubber sheet per A-A-59588 class 2B grade 60; pressure sensitive tape per A-A-883 type 1; adhesive per MIL-A-3316 class 1 grade A; Wire per A-A-59551 type S; Lacing Hook, 13 guage, zinc coated steel; insulation, felt per MIL-I-16411; non-metallic sheet per MIL-G-24696. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity supply type contract. It will contain a Base Ordering Period of one year, with one Option Ordering Period of one year. FOB Destination, with deliveries to Bremerton WA, San Diego CA and Mayport FL. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 6 June 2002. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. This office will not maintain a solicitation mailing list. Paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will not be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection. No telephone requests for the RFQ will be accepted. An email request to "julie_a_thomas@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event that an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
