- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed-Price modification to an existing contract with Alliant Techsystems, Inc., Rocket Center, West Virginia. This is to procure 30 Sparrow RIM-7P MK58 MOD 4 Rocket Motors for Foreign Military Sales. In addition, Alliant Techsystems, Inc. is the sole source manufacturer of the Sparrow AIM-7P/RIM-7P MK58 MOD 4 Rocket Motors and is the only source that possesses the requisite technical and engineering capability to fulfill this requirement within the required timeframe.
