This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. ** THE SOLICITATION IS AMENDED TO CORRECT THE SIZE BUCKET TRUCK REQUESTED -- CORRECTED TO READ 55'-65' BUCKET TRUCK** IMPORTANT NOTICE: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer --Central Contractor Registration and DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration requires registration in the CCR database. CONTRACTORS MAY REGISTER ON-LINE AT HTTP://WWW.CCR2000.COM/. IT_S MANDATORY TO OBTAIN A DUNS NUMBER PRIOR TO REGISTERING. AWARD CANNOT BE MADE UNLESS REGISTERED. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. F48608-02-Q-0018 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) of 7353, NAICS of 532412 with a size standard of $5M. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 90 CONS, F. E. Warren AFB, WY has a requirement for the following: Non-personal service to provide, tools, materials, parts, and transportation necessary to rent a 55'-65' bucket truck with 2 man bucket, light for night use, and 90,000 volt rated. Rental period is 1 June 02 ? 30 May 03. Line Item 0001: Unit Price $________, Total Price $__________, Bucket Truck Lease 12 mos ** Invoicing will be done monthly unless otherwise requested by the respective offeror. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items is hereby included by reference. The following are addenda to FAR clause 52.212-1; at paragraph (c), Period of Acceptance for Offers, the amount of time an offeror must hold its prices firm is hereby changed. An offeror must hold the prices in its proposal, firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of proposals. FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items shall be completed and submitted with the proposal. FAR clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items hereby applies to this solicitation. The following are addenda to FAR clause 52.212-4.
