Description
The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, training, licenses and other items or services necessary to perform maintenance and operation services for the Air Force Bombing Range, Fort Sill OK 73527. The scope of work for bomb range activities includes, but is not limited to: Open/Close/Inspect Range, shoot and operate Smokey Sams missiles, operate Sentry Dawg Training System (Threat Emitter), position rags (large targets) for strafe pits daily, lase targets for night operations, maintain and set out lights for night operations, and operate equipment for scoring. Grounds maintenance includes road/target area grading, grass cutting, trimming/pruning, erosion control, and insect control. Also included in the scope of work is vehicle/equipment/ground electronics maintenance and repair, custodial services, welding, carpentry, building, maintaining/moving/painting targets, building berms around targets (to contain ordinance), dumping sand in strafe pits, cleaning munitions from strafe pits, moving expended munitions from Impact Area, assist in putting out fires outside Impact Area, and assist in controlled burns within Impact Area. Administrative support with computer knowledge is required to maintain logs, provide and order all supplies, schedule airspace, answer phones, and pick- up mail. It is the Government?s intent to award a basic contract with four option year periods. The NAICS code is 56121 for Base Maintenance with a size standard of $20M. This acquisition will be set-aside for small business, and it is anticipated that offerors will be evaluated using a Technically Acceptable Price Performance Trade-Off. The Government intends to issue a solicitation on or about 1 July 2002. The specific closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
