- Description
- The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), a wholly owned Government Corporation intends to award a contract(s) to a qualified vendor(s) who can provide health and medical insurance for the Department of AmeriCorps volunteer members. This requirement covers approximately 7000 members. The minimum benefits that must be included in the insurance plan are: Prescription Medication: A Pharmacy Plan; Preventative: One mammogram per benefit year, One physical per benefit year, Routine immunizations, All diabetic supplies; Mental Health: Three outpatient counseling visits per benefit year; and Transportation: Land ambulance. The Corporation may award one nationwide contract or multiple regional contracts. The solicitation will be issued in hardcopy only. All requests for the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the POC listed, by June 14, 2002. NO telephonic requests will be accepted.
