- Description
- The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (IHS) will be soliciting from prospective health care providers who specialise in surgical assistant services. These services will be provided to patients who receive health care at the Santa Fe Indian Hospital, 1700 Cerrrillos Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Surgical assistant services will be provided within the the operating room, inpatient and outpatient areas. Surgical assistant services will be in the areas of laparscopic, vascular and open general surgical operations. The contractor is required to have a license in any one State of the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or a territory of the United States to practice medicine within an IHS facility. The contractor is also required to have medical malpractice coverage, be available on-call within 30 minutes of notification of surgery. Proposals received will be evaluated on the basis of numerically weighted technical factors. Cost/price will be considered on the basis of fair and reasonableness. All proposals received will be evaluated and considered for award. A single requirements type contract will be awarded for a base year, with four, one-year options for renewal. The solicitation will be release on or about June 11, 2002. The RFP NO. 02-09/VZ will not be available through the E-Mail or by Facsimile. Written Request Only.
