- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) OR SOLICITATION DOCUMENT. A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. QUOTES ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED OR ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. CONTRACTORS SHOULD FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. The U.S. Coast Guard Aircraft Repair and Supply Center (ARSC) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Airfoil Technologies Florida using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the ReWork of (2) Each R/H Engine Mounts, P/N# 553-0514-518A NSN: 1560-01-HR2-0781; and (3) Each R/H Engine Mount, P/N# 553-0514-518B, NSN: 1560-01-HR2-0782. Rework is required to be in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)Dassault Aviation/Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. specifications using Sermatech Procedure SER-034 and coating specifications Sermatel 5380DP and the USCG HU25 Main Engine Mount Inspection and Repair Requirements. Solicitation DTCG38-02-Q-100034 will be issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) and as an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS)is 336413 and the size standard is 1000 employees to classify as a small business. The RFQ/Solicitation document will be available for download from the FedBizOps website at www.eps.gov or can be obtained by faxing a written request to 252-334-5427 or by e-mail request to dhall@arsc.uscg.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register and use FedBizOps and can call Denise Hall, Purchasing Agent at 252-335-6143 for assistance. The anticipated award date is 12 April 2002. This date is an estimate only and not exact. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency. Sources must have valid Cage Codes and DUNS Numbers or have the ability to obtain one. Offers may be F.O.B. Origin or F.O.B. Destination, and will be evaluated on basis of lowest overall cost to the Government, including transportation costs. Desired delivery is 45 days after receipt of material and required delivery is 60 days after receipt of material. Delivery shall be made to the U.S. Coast Guard Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 Attn: Receiving Section. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
