Description: A presolicition notice of an upcoming solicitation to construction an air tanker base at the Jefferson County Airport, Colorado. The project consist of the construction of an operations bldg. (3,490 sf), retardant plant containment area (4,735 sf), sand/oil spearator, security fencing, site utilities, walkways, demolition of existing plant and office - plus other optional items. The awarded contractor will have from approximately October 1, 2002 to approximately May 15, 2003 to complete the project in time for the start of the fire season. The solicitation should be available about June 3, 2002. The estimated price range: $1,000,000 - $5,000,000
