- Description
- Coeur dAlene River Ranger District, Kootenai County, Idaho. Work consists of several distinct watershed restoration items, including obliterating segments of existing roads by recontouring the original hillside, restoring stream channels at road crossings, constructing waterbars, closing some roads by full road recontouring, and seeding all excavated areas. Channel restoration will involve removing fill and drainage structures at stream crossing sites, installing gradient control structures, and returning these sites to their natural state. Estimated price range between $25,000 and $100,000. Approximate start work date of July 15, 2002 with contract time of 60 calendar days.
