- This is only a pre-solicitation synopsis. The actual RFP, with information and specifications, will be available on Gateway after JUNE 03, 2002 (see instructions below) Please note that all dates are estimated----- See Notes #1, 9 and 26. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. -Buy American Act applies. This is an acquisition for 600 each of the item SHAPE, DAY SIGNAL, MARITIME BALL DESIGN 2 FT DIAMETER, WITH ALUMINUM FRAME, NSN 8345-00-174-0453. This contract will include one 100% quantity option. There will be two destinations required with 6 deliveries. The destinations are: New Cumberland, PA and Phoenix, AZ. The production lead-time is 120 days after award with 1 first article sample due after 60 days. This contract includes one 100% quantity option. Last award: 1998; 400 each @ $149.75----- Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. -------INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETRIEVING SOLICITATION -----Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after 03 JUNE 2002. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Select solicitation number and search for the RFP you wish to view. **Note: This will take a few minutes depending on your Internet connection. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent.
