- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to procure an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery Firm Fixed Price contract on an other than full and open basis. Delivery will be to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA 93555-6100. The contract will include an ordering period of 4 years from date of award. The items being procured are the following: RF DISTRIBUTION Card: Minimum quantity 2, Maximum quantity 30 -- Must meet the following criteria: Inputs: 3 selectable for each band, 1 auxiliary Inputs, switch selectable, for each low band output (total 4), Blanking Input- TTL switching level signal to switch off the inputs (high isolation); Outputs: 4 Low Band, 4 high Band. Frequency Coverage: 20 MHz. to 1,000 MHz. Low Band, 1,000 MHz. to 2,800 MHz. High Band; Pre-selection: Low-Band:20-1,000 MHz, High Band: 1,000-1,400 MHz., 1,400-1,800 MHz, 1,800-2,100 MHz, 2,100-2,800 MHz; Third Order Intercept Point: 20-2,800 MHz: +10 dBm typical; Second Order Intercept Point: 20-2,800 MHz: +50 dBm minimum; Spurious free dynamic range: 85 dB minimum; Self-Test: Selectable self-test noise source; RF Distribution Gain: Selectable Amplifier, 10 dB minimum gain; Programmable Attenuation: each output, 0 to 31 dB variable, 1 dB steps; Control Interface: VME 64X A16 for RF distribution control; Physical Size: VME 6U form factor, 1 slot maximum width; Software Drivers: VxWorks software drivers for RF distribution control; Documentation: Commercial Operators Manual; REFERENCE DISTRIBUTION CARD: Minimum quantity 2, Maximum quantity 30 -- Must meet the following criteria: Inputs Global Positioning System antenna: 10 MHz sinusoid reference, 1 volt peak to peak, 1 Pulse per second (PPS) clock; Outputs: 8 ea. 10 MHz. coherent reference, GPS carrier synchronized, 8 ea. 1 PPS clock, GPS synchronized; Output Isolation: 60 dB channel to channel; 10 MHz Accuracy, 1 e-12; 1 PPS Jitter: 1 nsec. Maximum; Reference Phase Noise: 10 Hz -120 dBc/Hz; 100 Hz -148 dBc/Hz; 1 kHz -155 dBc/Hz; 10 kHz-158 dBc/Hz; 100 kHz -160 dBc/Hz; GPS Output : Position: Latitude, Longitude, Altitude; Velocity: E-W; N-S Velocity vectors; Time of Day; Satellite Lock Status; Control Interface: VME 64X A16 for Reference/GPS Receiver Control; Physical Size: VME 6U form factor, 1 slot maximum width; Software Drivers: VxWorks software drivers for control; Documentation: Commercial Operators Manual; Procurement will be from Eclipse Electronics, 1399 W executive Drive, Suite 1, Richardson, TX 75081. Market research indicates that the commercially made Eclipse equipment is the only one that can meet the requirements. The solicitation will be issued on or about 14 May and will be available through the 2.0 Contracts Competency homepage at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. The deadline for submission of responses for the solicitation is 14 June 2002. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this intent to solicit, other than from the source listed, will be required to submit information to verify their proposed equipment will meet the requirements specified.
