- Description
- Contractor shall design, fabricate, install, orientate, and test requirements for modifying the 10? Pneumatic tube system (PTS) at Hill Air Force Base. The work will establish Bldg 850 as the alternate master control station for bldg 849, afford delivery of materials between Bldgs 850, 849, 39, 507/03 and other end stations in accordance with the solicitation and all attachments i.e. Purchase Description and Statement of Work. Issue Date: 28 May 2002. Performance Period: Award - 6 months. Anticipated Award Date: 16 Jul 2002. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
