- Description
- MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING (MFH) REFUSE COLLECTION. Requirement consists of performing refuse and yard waste collection and disposal services (off-site at an approved landfill for refuse and at the designated on-site location for yard waste) for 1689 military family housing units, 45 mobile home lots, 26 playground containers and 2 common area containers at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. Performance will commence on or about 01 Oct 02. The contract will include the anticipated base period from 01 Oct 02 ? 30 Sep 03 and possibly four (4) subsequent pre-priced one-year option. The resultant contract will be firm-fixed priced. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate interest to the Contracting Officer, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 5 calendar days of this notice. As a minimum the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts and telephone numbers. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. A decision on whether this requirement will be pursued as a HUBZone small business set-aside or on an unrestricted basis will be posted on FedBizOpps within 3 calendar days after the above 5 calendar days have expired. The applicable North America Industry Codes System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 562111 with a three-year average annual small business size standard of $10.5 million. The successful contractor will be selected using performance/price tradeoff procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Recent, relevant, past and present performance is defined as performance of the same or similar type of work within the last three years. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically o/a 30 May 02 on the Government?s Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation.
