- Description
- USDASolicitation Notice - The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided for the construction of a Lab/Office Building, Technology Transfer Center, and Headhouse additions to the existing laboratory facility and renovate an existing laboratory wing at the USDA, ARS, NPA, Ft. Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory in Miles City, Montana. There will be three additional line item options identified in the solicitation. The estimated cost of construction is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000 for all work, including the three options. The performance period will be 426 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This procurement will be conducted on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and using negotiated procedures. Solicitation No. 07-3K15-02, including drawings and specifications, will be available for viewing on FedBizOpps (www.fedbisopps.gov), at local plan rooms, and available for purchase for a non-refundable fee of $150 per set on or about April 10, 2002. Proposals will be due on or about May 17, 2002. Bid Bonds will be required to be submitted with offers. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit will be held in late April; additional information is contained in the solicitation. Requests for hard copy packages must be in writing and sent to Ms. Regina Herchak with a check or money order in the amount of $150 made payable to "USDA, Agricultural Research Service." Cash, credit cards and 2-party checks will NOT be accepted. No packages will be sent out unless a check or money order is received in the contracting office.
