Description

The Contractor shall supply all labor, material, supervision, equipment and transportation to relocate the outside lift from Building 476 to Building 173, located at the USDA, ARS, BARC, in Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work, Drawings, and Specifications. All work is to be completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for May 30, 2002, 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of Building 476 in Beltsville, Maryland. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235950 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as unrestricted, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about May 24, 2002. If you are unable to download the solicitation, a written request may be submitted to the Contracting Officer requesting a hard copy. Written request only, specifying the RFQ number (10-3K47-02) submitted to the address above or faxed to 301/504-5009. There will be a limited number of hard copies for issuance. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors. Anticipated award date is June 28, 2002.
