Description

The Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC, intends to procure remanufacturing services for the Preparation/Repair/Inspection of first, second and third stage Low Pressure Compressor (LPC) Blades for the F402RR408A aircraft engine program for a base year plus four (4) one year options. The Government intends to procure these services from Praxair Surface Technologies, Inc., 1234 Atlantic Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116, on a sole souce basis. Praxair Surface Technologies retains proprietary rights and is the only company approved and authorized by Rolls Royce, the engine manufacturer, to apply the required proprietary coating process LWIN40 flame spray. See Note 22.
