- Description
- The U.S. Navy intends to procure Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Operational Test Program Sets (OTPSs) in support of F/A-18 Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) on a non-competitive basis with the Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO. This requirement is for recurring quantities of CASS OTPSs to test the Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) WRAs and SRAs for which the Navy does not own specifications, drawings and related data to permit full and open competition. Items procured under this requirement include a basic contract for four (4) OTPS sets and an option for an additional four (4) sets for five (5) WRAs. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice will be solely within the discretion of the Government.
