- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for HVAC installation in shop building at Yazoo National Wildlife Refuge, Hollandale, MS. Work included under this invitation consists of installation of the HVAC system including through-the-wall heat pumps, gas unit heaters, exhaust fans, dampers and electrical all in accordance with the technical specifications and drawings. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 235110. The size standard is $11.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 05/15/02, with a 30 day closing. Requests shall be in writing, stating RFQ number 401812Q100, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone/fax numbers. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued, with a performance period of 70 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on or about 06/28/02.
