- SOURCES SOUGHT - LEASE/RENTAL TWO (2) AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION PREFERRED, 10-TON SEMI-TRACTOR TRUCKS FOR ONE YEAR. This requirement is unrestricted. This is sources sought is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Parts 12 and 13 apply. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. All line items will be awarded on a single purchase order. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (website: http://ccr2000.com) or by calling and registering prior to receiving award: (888) 352-9333. Contractor/vendor will submit a completed copy of the FAR Part 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (Apr 2002). Contract Terms and Conditions for Commercial Items, FAR Part 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders for Commercial Items, FAR Part 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition. FAR Part 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment (Aug 1996) is incorporated by reference. Delivery will be quoted as FOB Destination to Little Rock AFB, AR. FAR Part 52.212-1, Instructions of Offerors for Commercial Items, and FAR Part 52.212-2, Evaluation for Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation and will be used to evaluate items as consistent with below stated description of requirements. The The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 7513 and/or the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 532120. FAR Clauses applying to leased vehicles: 52.208-4, Vehicle Lease Payments; 52.208-5, Condition of Leased Vehicles; 52.208-6, Marking of Leased Vehicles; 52.208-7, Tagging of Leased Vehicles for vehicles leased over l60 days; 52.232-1, Payments. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS: Lease/Rental, two (2) automatic transmission preferred, 10-Ton Semi-Tractor Trucks, 6X4, DED 45999, without driver, for one year (12 months), Period: 9 MAY 02 THRU 9 MAY 03. Quantity: two (2). No sleeper, mud flaps a must, preventive breakage apparatus for back window requested. Must be able to pull 40 foot flatbed and low boy; off road; flat fee per month to include mileage (approximatley 500 miles per week); highway, paved and unpaved roads.
