- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial service. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. A written solicitation will be available on this web site on or about November 1, 2001. This procurement is restricted and set aside under the small business administration?s 8 (a) competitive program with an annual income of $12 million or less. The competition will be limited to only local qualified 8 (a) firms. All other firms, (other than local 8 (a) firms) are ineligible to submit offers. The solicitation document, which will be available on this web site, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 561720. The contractor shall provide management, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, labor, vehicles, transportation, and applicable licenses, permits and/or certificates necessary to perform custodial services in various buildings at Lackland Training Annex (LTA), and Kelly Field Annex (KFA) at Lackland AFB, Texas. The anticipated period of Performance is 01 March 2002 through 30 September 2002 for the basic period plus three option years (1 Oct 2002 through 30 Sep 2003), (1 Oct 2003 through 30 Sep 2004), and (1 Oct 2004 through 30 Sep 2005). All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. Once contractors have received the full solicitation package, submit written offers by fax or mail FAX #(210-671-5063) to: 37 CONS/LGCAA, ATTN: SUSAN EDWARDS, 1655 SELFRIDGE AVENUE, LACKLAND AFB, TX 78236-5253. The tentative due date for all quotes will be by December 1, 2001 by 4:00 PM CST. CHANGE CLOSING DATE TO: 29 MAY 2002 at 16:00 AND REVISED BID SCHEDULE, STATEMENT OF WORK AND APPENDIX'S HAVE BEEN CHANGED.
