- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing (Line Item One) residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services and (Line Item Two) Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Greater Visalia, California area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center (CCC), Amended November 2001" and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT), dated November 1999." This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement-type contract. The services are estimated to be 75% male and 25% female. The estimated number of inmate days for Community Corrections Center services (Line Item One) is 4,386 (males) and 1,462 (females) for the base period and 2,555 (males) and 730 (females) for option years one and two, and 2,562 (males) and 732 (females) for option year three, respectively. Estimates for TDAT services (Line Item Two) are 8 intake assessments, 24-30 minute sessions per inmate for Individual Counseling and 48-30 minute sessions per inmate for Group Counseling for the base period and 9 intake assessments, 24-30 minute sessions per inmate for Individual Counseling and 48-30 minute sessions per inmate for Group Counseling for option years one, two and three, respectively. Multiple awards may be made if doing so is economically advantageous to the Government. The solicitation will be available on or about May 14, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
